Wot top and bottom ball joints are used on a 1990 SEI wide??I am planning a big rebuild over the winter and wish to start my collection of parts. The bottom looks like acortina and the top looks like a trackrod end ?  TA :)

Bottom is a Cortina balljoint and the top is a Transit drag link joint. Some old car bottom ones were Austin Maxi joints of some sort.

Yes but watch those Transit joints...they are not a pair, like in their original designed use... they are in fact both the same.. but for the life of me i cant remember if it's LHS or RHS that we use.

The top ball joint is a Transit draglink joint (right hand I think)

The old cars had Cortina ball joint (4 bolt) and the newer ones have Maxi joints (2 bolt)
