You sure its an open diff as all the Cosworths used LSD's as standard in the rears.

Its defo an open diff but Gary Bunn had a look at it at the derby/notts meet and said it was a cosworth housing? what else could it be its not a freelander is it just a standard sierra diff housing? it was brand new on a 2001 factory built car

Is it bolt on driveshafts?

If you still have this for sale I will take it for £70.

(I would only pay the asking price for an LSD diff)

Hi mate

its got to be worth nearer a ton ono i know its not an lsd but they're still 370 recon from wf! :p

OK; I understand - if you re-consider drop me a PM - I have a 3.92 recon open diff from 2005 with 6,000 miles on it so it wouldn't be worth me swapping it out for £100.

Sorry to hijack but free bump!

What would it cost to add a viscous LSD to your 3.92 open diff? I've got a 3.62 7" LSD (recent rebuild) in mine that I'm looking to swap for a 3.92 or 4.10 as I think 3.62 is too long for a standard type 9 and a low power x-flow. There might be a mutual solution here somewhere?

Rich,

I really don't know how much it would be to add the LSD unit.My diff is a 7.5 inch with bolt on flanges - case is in A1 condition and was bought from Westfield in 2005.

Ah - ok - thanks anyway. I can't get a 7.5 inch in mine - there's no space. Worth a punt though! If I come to sell my 3.62 LSD I'll give you a shout!

Cheers - would be very interested.  :t-up:
