Does anyone have experience of swapping out their type 9 gearbox for a Borg Warner T5 gearbox ( 1992 SE). I have seen articles which suggests that some minor fab work is needed to make it fit.

Sadly, it will be a bit more than 'minor fab work' if it is a narrow chassis, and not that much easier if a widebody. Most of the work revolves around chopping out and remaking various trans tunnel chassis rails. I think Mark Boyce did this very thing to his car - keep your fingers crossed, he might see this thread shortly... :t-up:
