a friend and fellow westfield owner was one of the rescue crew that cut the car apart to get him out told me he only broke a finger and a bit of brusing.

I  stopped marshalling bike track days years ago. They were an absolute ball-acher. Spent most of the day kneeling on the track, radioing for a doctor, next to some groaning rider whose enthusiasm had overcome his talent.
