I have the 1.9" and they are fine, in theory thay should be lighter than the 2.25"...

Out of interest, does your friend have standard or wide track front wishbones? I only ask because I have wide track front and my front dampers / springs are angled over sufficiently to require 400lb springs. However in comparison to others this does seem unusually high.

His car is a SEI wide with, I think, normal wishbones (no widetrack).

My car is a ZEI, I assume it is quite standard.

imo 1.9s are better on the rear as it will give you more clearance from the wheel rim if you wish to upgrade to wider rims in the future. apart from that no difference

Thank you all for the info. Almost ready for order...

1 - Protech proposes 12.5" inches length for front, will it be ok or should I stick to 12" ?

2 - Protech asks me about the "bushing size" (7/16 and 32 or 38mm). What is it ?

EDIT : I have the info needed (12.5 is ok and 7/16+38mm)

I believe to get the same spring rate with 1.9" you need more windings so there is no weight advantage (This is from memory without the formulae for calculating spring rates infront of me though so could be wrong!)
