perksy Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Found a Better Photo showing the Silver Chassis Car 'in Build' (Turned out Very Nice ) Quote
cleowuss Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Hi Matt I bought my kit last year came as standard powder coated to a high quality. Cant say the same about some of the small parts but I don't want open that can of worms again. If I were ever to build another westy I would choose to get the chassis uncoated, then I could clean up some of the weld and remove the splater and short ends of mig wire that were left on mine. But that may be me being picky. all the best Richard Quote
Big R Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Maybe depends how good business is, but I was offered powder coating FOC if I placed my order when I had my test drive …. Quote

stevewi Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Also with Silver/grey chassis you would see cracks better. Quote
