I use a Sparco Formula...it's very comfortable and I would recommend it.  All heads are different, so make you try before you buy  ;)

If you take a look at SS pages via www.wscc.co.uk and download a "Beginners Guide" there are some codes noted in that to look out for  ;)  ;)  :D

Make sure it has a fire-proof lining, the ones which dont will cease to be allowed at the end of this year.

Do a search in the speed series section of this site, there is loads of info there.

Lastly, and my person view point, I wouldn't buy mail order, everybody's head is a slightly different shape, and what feels comfortable to one person may be uncomfortable to another. I know JeffC amongst others have been very happy with a make of helmet which is only available mail order, and is increadably keenly priced. Cant remember the make, but again has ben discussed here, in recent months. Personally though I went to Demon Tweeks for my new one simply to be able to try on quite a few in my size (starting with the cheapest!). I know it was more expensive that way, but I know I ended up with a helmet which is comfortable, and fits, on my head.

You pays your money and you takes your choice!

If thats a Challenger then yes I do... I like it. Mines a older colour....

I have to say though... weirdly as I am a brand snob, but I tend to use the £39.99 one I bought from Lidl a few months back ALOT more now! A replacement VISOR a bought recently for the Sparco was £45!!!!

THe flip front is just soooooo handy on the Lidl one....

heres my 'modified' Sparco challenger.  Bishops Ears from Ebay... tested to BIG speed already!

I have both the challenger and the WTT TK Sparco helmets. The WTT is definitely the most comfortable of the two. As stephenh has already advised, go and try a few on, you will be amazed just how different the fit can be between manufacturers.

I have the Sparco Challenger. I must admit not to wearing to many other helmets, but I don't find the challanger uncomfortable in anyway.
