housebeautician Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 a good run out, that locost can shift cant it ta chaps and look forward to the next one. Quote
LocoR1 Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 Thanks guys i really enjoyed that apart from the traffic, made all the effort over the last two days to get the car back together worth it! Not the best way to test a new diff and drive shafts but its well and truly tested now Wish i did the lottery im in love with that atom Dave... Quote
SparkyB Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 Cheers for the run, shame there was so much traffic (why was there a horse transporter on every good stretch!) Mark B Quote
Cleggy the Spyder Man Posted May 10, 2009 Author Posted May 10, 2009 Ahh feck me it was like being at Burghly ****** horse ****** trials and every set of decent corners we caught up with normal cars arrghhhhhhhhh goodness me ... However we did get a few good runs, really enjoyed the Benefield bends, that was amazing, and some of the bends between Bourne and Corby Glen were superb, just a shame you guys got stuck behind traffic ... was a joy to see the atom and the locost r1 with turbo, two immensley quick motors - David I enjoyed seeing the the flame shooting out of the exhaust, we need to to a slightly later run so I can see the flames in the dark, could watch that forever .. sorry Mark about shooting off in other direction, really felt i owed the guys some quicker roads - however, we never did get on that melton road because A1 was blocked so we ended up going south for a bit, then heading off towards Oakham, then the usual route back via uppingham, corby and benefields etc all said and done not a bad route, maybe like Mark and Mark Sparky suggested try and squeeze it into an early Sunday morning before traffic builds up Tony you gotta get them brakes sorted, will help ya if you want a hand to get sorted - let me know enjoy the piccies Thanks for showing up fella - the kids loved them motors, they were very excited Bring on the next blat Quote
SparkyB Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 My car was clean....it just 'looks' dirty in that photo!!! ...Wish I hadn't picked black bodywork now >< Quote
