kidz Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 Looking to replace one of my cycle wings.. Westfield appear to do 2x type widths. I currently have 195/50/15 tyres fitted, how do identify which cycle wing to go for. They come in 185 and 205 widths according to westfield Website. Appreciate your advice. Andy Quote
Chasmon Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 For reference I have 185 cycle wings on 205 tyres... They're tight and I like the look but they needed a lot of work on the stays to make them fit and clear. When i was doing it the factory told me 195 tyres fit in the 185 wings. I believe this is the set-up on factory built cars. HTH Edited to add. Apologies I never got round to replying to your PM Kidz. Other things have taken over a bit really from the Westfield in the form of house renovation... Still not made it out to a meet yet! Quote
Mark (smokey mow) Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 Take the front wheel off and check the white label embedded within the fibreglass of the arch, there may be a few clues there and a mould number you can give to Westfield. Quote
