Restoration Project Advice

Ebay: 280335912089 sold for £3700.00 in the end.  Would you say I was right to think that's not much of a bargain seeing as the *tub needed repairing. Also from what I can see that's not much cheaper than buying new from WSC?

*With the RAL code the correct Gel Coat could have been sourced and with the right skills could have been made to look like new but even still I'm sure this would involve quite a bit of effort.

Edit: I suppose the LSD would put a little bit more value on.
