Bean Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 Has anybody used Mike Jennings, he's based Sible Hedingham, Cambridge way. He's an old school tuner (Tom Airey esque but not stupidly expensive), runs an RR and has a scrap metal business/car breakers. My Father recommends him highly, setup his triple weber carbs on a race tuned V6 Essex by ear perfectly I'm thinking about making a trip up there myself Quote
chazpowerslide Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 I don't recall that any of the Cambs chaps have used him. Chris F has used Peter Baldwin who opperates out of Wimpole in Cambridge, there are plenty of people here who really rate him. Chaz. Quote
samcooke Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 Wrong Mr Chaz - I've been to him twice and bean's pop is right, he rules. He set up the xflow on 40s in my old car and it ran better than any other xflow I've seen before or since. Mike is very well known in the ford community and builds all sorts of hi spec heads in his shed. He also built a four wheel drive, four wheel steer fiesta for some reason. He is, however, a miserable b*****d and it feels like he's doing you a favour, even when you pay him. Having said all that, Hedingham ain't near Cambridge, it's about an hour away... Quote
