Darrell O'Neill Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 After ordering Rallydesign widetack a while ago, i've learnt that they dont have any in stock and wont do for 2-3wks.... With my first hillclimb of the season in 4wks it doesnt leave me much tollerance in time to wait... Ive tried unsuccesfully today to get hold of GTS, but... is there any other widetrack in the same sort of budget that doesnt require longer shocks? Or does anyone have a set of wishbones under the bench they wish to sell for retail price and replace when Rallydesign have them? Help appreciated guys.. Quote
originalgeezer Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 Just buy from Cat Motorsport...... Ordered Saturday, here this morning - £199 for four wishbones and track rod extensions Quote
Darrell O'Neill Posted April 8, 2009 Author Posted April 8, 2009 Do the cat wishbones take the same length shocks? Quote

stewart pickles Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 Do the cat wishbones take the same length shocks? same shock angle as standard track,so if thats what you have they will be fine call rushpuff @ cat on 01274 562474 Quote
Matt Seabrook Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 Yep that what I have fitted to the Black Westfield mate. The only down side is it still uses the Westfield setup for camber adjustment ie you cant get the camber equal on both sides as the adjustment is one hole turn of the top ball joint. Quote
westy turbo Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 So wich wide kit is spot on and on camber adjustments? the cat one? Quote
RichP Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 Procomp have a solution that offers accurate camber adjustment. However their solution to fit standard shockes requires a sort of strut brace across the top mounts that moves the pickup points outwards. Don't know if this is ok for your regulations. Give them a call and see what they suggest? Quote
originalgeezer Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 Rich He has a urgent need though from the comments in his original post, Procomp when I visited them and tried to get mine done were booked for months. (didnt call to confirm a date after that as agreed, but thats another issue) Other than that I would have suggested Procomp if being used for competition purposes. Quote
