Passed my retest at Exeter today (fortunately missing the rain) and then got ultra lucky at DVLA which is just round the corner; their vehicle inspector was in and free and it wasn't his usual day.  Just finished fitting plates!!  Close call as DVLA central hotline helpfully informed me I didn't need to pre-book an inspection but the local office said I should have done and they may not be able to do it today.  Fortunately he had a gap. :t-up:

Awesome feeling.  I'm still picking the flies out of my teeth from grinning all the way home.

Only kick in the teeth was insurance (Highways via Sureterm) who charged me £15.75 to "amend the policy" with the registration and issue new documents.  Even though I've only ever had a temporary cover note.   :arse: holes

Anyway, that can't put a damper on the day.

Huge thanks to everyone on here who's helped me get this far and particularly Matt Seabrook who sorted all my geometry and helped me fix my emissions issue.

Cheers

Dave
