combatsapph Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 I've gone from 17" to 15" (not 13 like you) and I have yet to drive it on the 15's - only fitted them yesterday. Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2's - 15" and lightweight with Toyo Proxes T1-S tyres. Old wheels and tyres weigh 20kg - new wheels weigh 14 kg :-) That's 24kg for the whole car but they say weight saved on the wheels is like x4 saved anywhere else - so I've shaved the equivalent of nearly 100kg from a car that only wieghed 605kg in the first place! Old wheels:- New wheels (sorry about the fuzziness and the mud - when for a bit of a "rally" drive down the lanes last night):- I'd actually wound the spring platforms up before fitting the 15's so it can actually come down a bit now there on. kitkat Posted March 15, 2009 Author Posted March 15, 2009 Wow Combatsapph, these are nice wheels and I see that I am not the only one to have had once 17 inches wheels ;-) Your feedback on the new behaviour will be quite interesting. Thank you for sharing ! Quote
