My latest upgrade WILL be an exhaust guard

Nearly one year into ownership I have done the following to a car which I told SWMBO cost more than the others but had everything I wanted so I wouldn't be spending any more money on upgrades  :laugh:

7inch to 4inch headlight change

Carbs refurbished and rolling road set-up (re-found missing 15bhp)

Fitted microswitch to support brake pressure switch

De-tango front indicators including silver bulbs

De-tango side indicators including silver bulbs

Stripped, refurbished, new badge on front grill

Stripped, refurbished cooling pipes

Stripped, refurbished radiator

Changes ALL hoses from rubber to silicone

Zetech water mod

Fitted breather catch tank

Scratch repair and mopped all of car

Fitter PPG stone protection

Re-packed exhaust

Replaced number plate light

Replaced number plate light again (wife drop into garage door  :bangshead: )

New tax disk holder

Shot blasted and powdercoated: headlight mounts, roll bar, pram bars, front indicator pods, cam cover, accelerator cable mount, cycle wing brackets, stearing rack mounts, other odds and sods.

Refurbished chassi paint

Shot blasted and powdercoated in different colour all five wheels (silver to anthrasite) and fitted new Westfield badges.

Changed 12 year old Spax for AVO's and new springs (steel rear, alloy front).

Changed 3.9 open diff for 3.9 LSD.

New widetrack

New quickrack

New polly rack mounts

New polly bushes

All new ball joints

New braided front brake lines

Various new nuts and bolts

Repared hole in fuel tank

Welded up peddal box cover (to replace orange silicone sealant)

New tyres

Fitted trumpets

New catch latch to hold bonnet on

New "Westfield Sport 2000" front sticker

New stearing wheel

New speedo

New clutch cable

New accelorator cable

Side screens

Fitted wireless third brake light.... removed wireless third brake light.

Re-welded exhaust silencer

Replaced all foam around bonnet

Corner Weighted

Geo (later today!)

Oh yes, and I services it... plugs, all fluids, etc

Carbon Boot lid

Carbon chassis protectors

Carbon inner cockpit panels

Team dyno wheels with parada tyres (black)

M and P lights

Savage switches for the dash

Oh and some other carbon bits....... :D

and a new camcorder just need to sort the mounting bracket.

Now done with setting from BLiNK Motorsport... b****y marvellous! The car handles like a dream come true. I can't wait to get on the track  :t-up:
