Tell us about your latest upgrade

Cleggy the Spyder Man

Recommended Posts

Thought it would be a good idea to share all our upgrades that we seem to under take relentlessly, no matter how big or small ...

Just this week I have fitted some wind deflectors, purchased off ebay for 50 squid plus posatge - and also shaved a bit of the front edge of my cycle wings as they had a big crack right at the front which has bugged me since I purchased the car (that dremel is great for drilling fibreglass) ....

Anyway, what are you fannying about up to in your garage?

Loads of maintainence type stuff:

Chassis - powder coat touch up

Steering rack bellows

Lower steering column UJ replacement (more involved than you think - machining etc)

Dashboard electrics tidy up + replace old rocker switches with illuminated ones etc etc.

New carpets

Paint brake discs ( not friction areas!!)

Stone chip protectors

This has kept me out of trouble most of the winter, once this is done, the more significant mods will be made ;) Roll on March so I can re-tax  (this could be the only Tax I am happy to pay!)

Not sure about it being an upgrade, but I've removed the aeroscreen and putting back the windscreen!!
