Couple of questions about the Zetec

Only my thoughts and parts get changed with time but the cam cover is a phase 2 one, earlier ones said DOHC, phase 2 said Zetec, think the changover date was early 95.

Having said that the later engines had a bigger oil seperator, the one in the photo's is the early small one, was changed to comply with emisions I believe, no idea when unfortunately. Both my Silvertops had that oil seperator, one was a 93 and the other a March 95.

The Blacktop crate engine I bought has no number on it, As siad before Ford intend you to stamp on the number from the old engine because the chassis VIN number contains the engine number within it (in the original Ford).

The March 95 bottom end is in the garage in bits, crank needs a regrind if any ones interested for an any easy SVA build.
