Picked up the new machine a couple of days ago and have been out in the sunshine this afternoon...

Massive improvement on my 1994 Steel GT  :D

And no I haven't got a clue what it revs to  :p

Still riding my 1995 GT Pantera rigid, went to Afan at the weekend great fun. Would love a new bike but can't justify the cost when it could be spent upgrading the Westie. :D

my bike , bought it 5 years ago was black , I stripped it and painted it the team colours and rebuilt with new bits  :t-up:  :t-up:

I had this up until last year when I sold it  :(  to fund the Westfield build.  Now I'm riding a Full Sus Marin since Essex isn't really hilly enough to justify the DH bike

Scott Scale 40 - 2009 with XT and avid Hydraulic brakes. Weight is about half that of my GT !

Nearly went straight over the bars the first time I grabbed a fist full of brake lever  :laugh:

.... what you need is a bike with pedigree.  Something like a Merlin Oreas.....  just a shame I never ride it.  Purchased it for an alpine trek and only ridden 4 times in over 2 years since.  :(

Just curious!I've seen loads of posts on ere about mountain biking but non on road bikes....wots the connection between Westfields & mountain bikes ???
