carpetstu Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 Have you read the bidding rules and how much it costs to bid! Personally I would stay away from it! 40p per bid and bis allocations have to be prepaid. Looks like a con to me! Quote
mjones31 Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 I won an ipod on that site. And yes i did say win. I got it for 38 quid plus 9 quid postage and it cost me a tenner in bids. It also envolved sitting at the computer for 2 hours just wathching the bids. You can be lucky but you can also spend loads if you dont watch the bids your spending. They make a serious amount of cash on that site. Take the lap tops. Cost to them about a grand for a good one. Penny auction sells at 150 quid. Thats 150 bids at 1p so 15000 bids at 50p per bid thats £7500 made on that auction alone. OMG .Times that by the amount of auctions they have at the same time and thats loads of dosh. Just be carefull. But if you can get a 42 inch plasma telly for 120 quid its worth a gamble. Mark Quote
