Cleggy the Spyder Man Posted January 3, 2009 Author Posted January 3, 2009 yes let us eat more pies Quote
Matt Seabrook Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 Absolutely. It always amuses me when people get carbon this and that and really could save the same weight by losing it themselves (they seem to forget that they need to be there to drive the things). I'm a prime example, I'm at least 4st overweight. Until I can be arsed to get rid of that, then sticking carbon stuff on my car would be complete nonsense. Then again, adding carbon means I could eat more pie to offset it... Maybe this is what they mean by carbon offsetting? There might be something in it after all! I have lost 50kg off the car I may be a little over weight but 50kg of me would make me look a little under nourished Quote
jim_l Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 We should add another dimension Bhp per ton per pound spent , then we can eat all the pies we like and be at the top of the table. Quote
juansolo Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 Ton & Tonne are different! I weigh a ton! Indeed. bhp/ton makes no sense though it's what everyone uses. It should be bhp/tonne or ps/ton. Also merkins use short lbs so their bhp/ton (where the ton is imperial) is also different... I do cater for all this nonsense in the spreadsheet, though I didn't bother to work out bhp/tonne or ps/ton as no-one cares. Quote
fatbaldbloke Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 QUOTE 386 lbs/ton then That means I weigh half a ton! Definitely time for a post-Christmas diet....... Quote
