I don't expect to win but I'll start things rolling...I was out in the Westie at 11.00am on the dot doing a spot of engine datalogging...and it was bl00dy cold (datalog shows air temperature at -2.8)!  20 minutes later and back indoors with a coffee but I have that first 10 miles of the new year under my belt.  Come on then, someone must be able to better that...

I was out at the turn of midnight in my Westy, watching the fireworks from up in the country.

Ok, only joking.  It's freezing out there but I might venture out later!

Too much b****y salt! Our council has gone crazy on the stuff this year so the car is tucked away until April at least.

Plus it's b****y cold!

Out at 10 this morning in the Westy for a 130 mile trip back from seeing my folks for all the seasonal stuff  :xmas: . Was it cold? Yes it was!   Left the sidescreens at home too. Now sitting in front of the fire trying to get warm again. The trip over on Christmas Eve was fun. Dry roads and relatively warm. The journey back today, less so... Car didn't miss a beat all the way there and back.

My wife and I, have been in the Dominican Republic for 2 weeks......

I was out in "Grunt" in minus 3% yesterday, up past "Alton Towers" main gate, and back, Alton Village still thinks it's under attack from a stray German Bomber!

I drove 10 feet this morning at 6.00am down the drive before I stalled it 'cos the engine needs its cold start map tweaked, and then it wouldn't start at all after that  :bangshead: . Luckily managed to push the car back up the drive and bundle the kids in the car in their pyjamas and catch up my commuter coach to London...not that I want to be working today. At least after i fit my new xmas PC680 battery tray I'll be able to get to the +ve terminal without having to take the nosecone off. :t-up:  :D
