Does anyone know how to remove the rear wiper on an 04 plate Audi A4?  Doing my head in as it's stopped working although the front ones are fine!! :(  :(

Edited - the wiper works but not water washer working. I can hear the pump working fom the front which does both front and back.

I assume you have an estate. If so it's probably the same problem that my A6 suffered from last year and which is a common fault on VAG cars.Does the washer jet turn with the wiper spindle ? If it does read on because it shouldn't.This link will give you all the details www.golfmk4.co.uk/wiper_motor_corrosion_repair.htm

Briefly, the rear washer jet is fed by a brass tube which passes through the rear wiper spindle. Said tube corrodes over time, welds itself to the wiper spindle and eventually breaks. You simply need to replace it. Audi do a kit or you can DIY it as i did. It's a pain to get out as you need to remove the tailgate lining, strip the bottom of the wiper motor, and then drill out the old tube from inside the tailgate. Dont use the rear washer meantime as you will flood the tailgate and fog up the inside of the car.

just pull off the jet assy and blow it out

I used to get this a lot, 9/10 the rear jet freezes, you squirt and its blocked with ice  and blows the pipe off the back    golfs and passat estate suffer also, tell tale is normally a wet boot

Mine kept blocking so I modded with some fine drills increasing the size slightly and so far 18 months have passed without a blockage.

Sounds like the same fault I've currently got on my Mk4 Golf estate, the washers still working at the moment but it's now rotating with the wiper.  Still at least I've had the tailgate apart enough times now fixing the lock problems the estate VAG's also suffer from to know how to get the interior panels apart to sort it.

Chances are the wipers coroded onto the splined shaft hence why it's not budging easily.  I'd try some WD40 combined with an appropriate puller to remove it.
