brianm Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 Ok, just read this and as a long shot has anyone got a Toshiba Regza 42x3030DP LCD tv? Had it for 3 months now and been excellant but I am just taking up an issue with Toshiba (only contacted them yesterday) It's developed a fault, just a small one but one of those that when you know it's there you see it and look for it. A feint vertical line straight down the center of the screen has appeared. Cante be seen on fixed camera shots or on multicoloured scenes but when the camera is panning and on certain coloured plain backgrounds it becomes noticeable and draws the eye. Paticularly bad on football, snooker and sky and water. It may even have done it from new, just see it all the time now. Any experts out there? Quote
PeP Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 Don't know for certain but I seem to remember a certain brand screens doing this but I think they had a horizontal line across the middle. The reason was that they were made up of two pieces and the line you could see was where they joined. Asking here will get the best response. Quote

Thats exactly how it seems, 2 x 1/2 screens joined down the middle. I am about to contact Toshiba, but after buying the set in August, I only registered it yesterday, so just giving a day or so.
