flat_four Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 Congrats on getting one! Le Mans is definately easy enough in a widebody. I got mine SVA'd mid May this year, and then took it down to Le Mans twice - once or the main event and then a month later for the Classic. Great fun, although the storms were 'fun' on the way to the Classic with no weather gear . I was surprised how much stuff I loaded into the Westy, and one of Paul Ash's (he's on this forum) excellent luggage racks is a must. Will definately be taking mine down to Le Sarthe again next year! Will definately be taking mine down to Le Sarthe again next year! sorry chaz ..I got your PM before I read this ..so apologies for my message saying "strange message" thought you were trying to use site as a dating agency sending me your numbers Gonna start planning trip to le mans soon ... that's gonna be such an experiance I just put a deposit down on 2000 sport duratec in yellow , it was the one I posted up in here a little while ago, apparently it used to be on display at Bristol airport... it blew my socks off, especially without sidescreens I gotta go pick it up soon, I need to borrow a helmet me thinks, and I hope it dont rain without any wet weather gear Quote
