Andrew Posted October 12, 2008 Posted October 12, 2008 Glad the weather bucked up for you lot, it was a bit stormy for the trackday on Friday! ...but we had a roof on our car! Look at those waves! Quote
John Loudon - Sponsorship Liaison Posted October 12, 2008 Posted October 12, 2008 Congratulations to Andy on offically being 2008 champion. I managed to get the time difference required to overtake him but there were only 2 in my class for the weekend despite the entry list listing 3 and thus didnt get max points (no hard feeling Jason ) Andy deserved it anyway after an incredible continuous string of class wins - by far the best and most consistent driver - well done Andy John Quote

Del and I had a great battle and we took 2nd and 3rd fastest FTD followed closely by Andy Rushworth and Barney I think Cateringvans were no where to be seen Quote
IanD Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 Just got to say what a great weekend, and to think I had second thoughts about entering. The International circuit is amazing. Extremely well run. I don’t think I have ever had so many timed runs. Well done Longton. Also a big thanks to Del for the loan of some rose joints to fix my anti roll bar. A great end to the season, See you all next year. Quote

Andy @ Cat Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 Ah shucks. Thanks very much. One of the funniest parts of the weekend was the morning wakeup call over the PA, P**s taking bar stewards. (I wouldn’t want it any other way) I too would like to thank Longton for organising a fantastic and very slick weekend. I hope we will be getting invited back next year as the international circuit is just fantastic. What are we going to do with ourselves for the next 6 months. I’m looking forward to next season already. Quote

Nick Algar - Competition Secretary Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 Just got back after stopping of on the way back up. Fantastic weekend, with so many runs it was not true. Very big thank you to you WSCC guys and girls who helped pushing the orange beast around, wouldn't have coped without you. Excellent organisation by Longton, really smoothly run and how did they get 6 runs in on Sunday and yet still finish by 4pm, incredible. Great banter on throughout the weekend as always, fantastic way to finish the season, can't wait till next year. See you all at the Awads Do in Feb, if not before. Make sure you book up as there will be some special awards for some unlikley people, promises to be a great night, normal WSCC style !! Quote
Terry Everall Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 How many cars did Gary Smith "sort out"? He even brought his own steel tube straight edge for checking toe in and alignment of all the basic but important stuff and it seemed to work!!!!!! Quote
