Most people who try sprinting find it addictive, despite the fact that you spend about 7h50m of an 8 hour day hanging about. Give it a go; double drive with the missus a huge bonus.

Great company, great sport  --  and great support (from your competitors    )

See you next year...................

............but please do upgrade the roll-bar :t-up:

As said, chrome hoop will pas scruitineering and may be commented on. Heaven forbid you have an accident and roll it, the chrome hoop wont be of any use whatsoever. if it means selling the brakes, because standard ones will be fine, then buy a MSA bar or cage

But the main thing, above all else, ENJOY IT  :)  :t-up:

I've done two sprints this year (i normally circuit race) and have found them great fun...

much more laid back than circuit racing (i've found) it is very little track time as such... but there seem sto be more banter between the runs..

try it - i doubt you'll regret it

Do it!  :D

DON'T do it.......

You will never save another penny in your life!

You will spent £100's of pounds just trying to get 0.001' second faster

You will live and dream sprinting all season, you will plan your holiday's around events and never leave the garage between them. Your family will become a thing of the past and unless your freinds can describe turns 1,2,3 and the hairpin, you'll not want to know them. You will consider selling your mother for a few more BHP, you will wish your tyres to wear quickly and think that a gallon of petrol goes miles! You will sit for hours in the pit exit lane, in the rain and sweating your balls off in a nomex suit in the rain and still not worry. You will live on a diet of burgers and spend hours waiting for them to be served, You will get up at the crack of dawn only to travel miles, wait hours for a few miniutes on track. Driving on the roads will seem tame, no matter how hard you push...

In short, your life will never be the same.....

When does the season start again?

When does the season start again?

:D I’ve just completed my first year of sprints & hills and I absolutely loved it :D  :D  :D

Just did some select events in south Wales and south west Brilliant :p

Strangely my road driving has slowed down  ??? I was never a hooligan but drove to the conditions now I am happy to potter about and save the right foot for events

I used to do track day’s which are good fun but nothing like the Buzz from a hill, at the finish, shaking hands, eyes on storks, slight seepage

Highs Llys y fran, Wiscombe and Epynt

Lows Landow engine blow and not being able to do more events

I short just do it :D  :D

Agreed Dave driving on the road is a joy to potter now. Even track days just dont have the same buzz as a sprint.

As for Mr Oneill well mate you just have not got the hang of it yet. You have to put in much more effort than that. You also have to sell body parts. :p:D:devil:

It may change your life, certainly did my'n.

But don't regret it one little bit, you only live once and it's not a practise  :D  :D  :D

I've been thinking about this as well, especially since a recent trip to Prescott which was excellent.

I'm still a bit confused by how it's all organised though. Are there local events that you can just turn up to? (or get invited somehow) as the missus isn't too keen on travelling all round the country.

Yep this is looking more and more like a goer. Going to hook up with Tom - tcc21racing - and have a nose around his car to see what I need to do. Have been thinking seriously about the roll bar as well and think that it will need an upgrade.

Slightly confused on the helmet front though because I have a really good helmet - Shoei XR1000 - from biking, but it sounds like bike helmets are not acceptable. What's the story here as I know that the helmet has all the relevant bits.
