BigDaveUK Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 is this a sierra unit? how much work would it be to wedge this into my busa with standard freelander diff? thanks dave.
1993sei Posted September 26, 2008 Author Posted September 26, 2008 Yes this is Sierra so a little bit of work but not much im sure. Regards Dave
V 8 Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 Yes this is Sierra Not if it's a 7 1/2" it isn't
JeffC Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 is this a sierra unit? how much work would it be to wedge this into my busa with standard freelander diff? thanks dave. wouldnt be worth it, you would need to swap driveshafts etc and not a lot to gain swapping from a 3.2 freelander you would get a bigger gain fitting larger rear tyres
1993sei Posted September 26, 2008 Author Posted September 26, 2008 Its from a Sierra 2.8 automatic estate. Find one of those on ebay!!
1993sei Posted September 26, 2008 Author Posted September 26, 2008 These units are a hell of a lot stronger that the freelanders also the LSD's are a bit easier to come by. Bailey Morris will do the drive shafts for about £300 and Im sure AB performance would fit the sierra diff with little problems. (Andy is sorting mine at the moment).
V 8 Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 Its from a Sierra 2.8 automatic estate. Find one of those on ebay!! It'll be a 7" then
1993sei Posted September 26, 2008 Author Posted September 26, 2008 I wish it was a 7" as it would be worth MUCH more money.
