Rob Navin Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 Well done to all involved. Until you have done this type of event you simply cant imagine the efforts needed by the whole team to get a finish never mind a superb result such as this and I know for Ian and the team there have been enough previous disapointments. A well deserved result for the whole team and a good result for the G50 doing the distance, I'm sure it will help the car go from strength to strength. BTW Jamie, loved the pre prototype road car, any details ? Quote
Nick Algar - Competition Secretary Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 BTW Jamie, loved the pre prototype road car, any details ? Not another car for the stable Rob Completley agree with your comments, great job by the team and the Drivers, an excellent result and one I am sure they will be very proud of. Quote
Mark Stanton Posted September 22, 2008 Author Posted September 22, 2008 but I recon the seats got to be mounted on long range runners! It sure is, its a wide seat and fully adjustable An excellent event, however Andy Neate who was driving the TVR at the start is in a pretty bad way with a significant cervical spinal injury (as well as others), and is being kept in a controlled coma for the moment. Thoughts are with him and his family who were present at the race Quote

Thoughts are with him and his family who were present at the race I was down with Ian Bankhurst who was due to have the second stint in the TVR. Obviously the enormity of what has happened to Andy has affected the whole team. All of our throughts are with Andy and his wife and kids at the moment. Quote
Rob Navin Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 BTW Jamie, loved the pre prototype road car, any details ? Not another car for the stable Rob Depends on the dollar ! ( and finding room in the stable but it would meak a nice replacement for the westy ! ) Quote
