Hi Guys,

have looked at 750 club and the northern sports and saloon club for race dates in Oct & Nov... what other clubs may have race dates still remianing for seven type cars with bike engines ??

The 750 club at out 2nd wk end in Oct - but only one race, and no practuce day available the day before.. so not worth the trip..

woudl like to do a race wk end before winter really sets in after our last round here in 2 weeks....

Couldn't get a team interested in the Birkett.... any other ideas ??

Mark you won't get in at the birkett its full and Mallory is the last round for the 750 RGB season. I think most club championships will have finished by th end of Oct

cheers Buzz... yea - i tried to get a team from here to do teh Birkett.. but no real interest..

i was thinking of going to mallory to do the last round - but Robin reckons there is almost zero chance of an alcomers race.. and its a long way for one !! the final decision on that one was that there is no practice available the day before..

i just thought some of the southern clubs may still be running... last race here end of september..

We managed to get out in an all comers type rave in December at Anglesy last year as a shake down for the radical.

Can't remember the series but I found the details then on the circuit website under race dates.

May be worth a try.

Now there's your problem 'southern clubs' Ther just a bunch of girlies and won't come out in the wet, cold & wind, unless they got their scarf, gloves, hats and woolly heads on.

I will be there Steve, but dressed in a skirt just to keep the hard northen b*****ds happy.

Gosh it grim down South

I'd be careful there. Those northern boys will f**k anything in a skirt

well.. i would have expected the northern lot to have a few in the colder months - looked at the northern sports & saloons guys - and they finish this wk end - same as us..

will look into semsec, and that anglesey meeting could be interesting... not far over the water :-)

Thanks guys...

Gone a bit quiet oop north, not just race meetings wise  :p

anglesey have a winter race meet on 30th Nov with a test day on the sat (29th)

it looks to be fairly open - but they will have a grid for sevens - regardless of tyres/engine..

Race entry £150, practice day half price - so £90 for it... cheap enough wk end... could be well interested - especially if the ferry companies have keen deals off season :-)
