Jonah Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 Sam knows feck all. According to sam it is unlikely that I would get an ADSL connection. Strange as I have had one for the last 5 years. Quote
PeP Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 I'm on SkyMax adsl2, been alright for me and I need pretty good connections for gaming. Can't beat the costs for £10p.m. and it's unlimited which is great.( My computer has hardly been turned off for 5 years ) Another recommendation for http://www.thinkbroadband.com/ I'd rather be without the internet than use some of the providers. Chris.B's Son Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 I've heard that O2's Fair Usage Policy is more strict than Be's? And that O2 don't do Fastpath? Are those two true and what other diffences are there? Both of those things are completely untrue, typical internet forum rumours. It did used to be hard to get fastpath enabled on O2 but not anymore. The only differences are the 'value added' services like you get the free web originated SMS messages with O2 and you get webspace with Be. And that's from someone who works at O2..... Be Pro is £22, O2 Ultimate is £15 if you've got a phone contract with them. Quote
gixermark Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 i was with talk talk - no issues with it.. but we had been paying 15 or 20 quid a month... We moved to sky last year - and although the set-up/tech support was terrible... i really can't complain about the service, and getting Sky TV, talk & Broadband for £16 a month is hard to beat.. Having said that - i have noticed their coice calls to mobiles and international rates are crazy high.... Mark. Quote
