jim_l Posted August 27, 2008 Posted August 27, 2008 You want my honest opinion I think the weather this summer has made tin tops seem attractive somehow. I've had Westy for a year done 5 wet track days and had limited road opportunities . Still, think I'll persevere for now...........
perksy Posted August 27, 2008 Posted August 27, 2008 Nice position to be in if your looking to buy a car Some good spec' cars about at the moment

Asterix Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 I`ve had the car for five year`s and i feel like a change ok, how about if we call you "Amanda" from now on? Personally, I got to passenger in a work colleague's GTM. Great fun, nice car - even if it is based on Rover parts and is about 200kg more than the average Westy (Mick and Matt, I said "average"). As the rain hissed down I was tempted to think a GTM may be the way to go but I then realised that sure as global warming is happening, the cycle will complete itself (I only have to wait about 1000 years). Also heard that Chung Ki So Saj (or whoever it was that bought Rover) have this week restarted MGF production with 180 staff at Longbridge, aiming for 50 cars a week. Just think, that's 50 more crappily built GTM donor vehicles per week just awaiting the inevitable terminal breakdown.
