Thats interesting what you say about the battery as I looked on SBD motorsport site about Hayabusa ECU's and they mentioned starting problems with other ECU's with slightly low batteries. I have a lightweight battery that is always on trickle charge and turns the engine over really well but it is a year old. May be the battery needs to be perfect.

Would really appreciate you finding out about the trigger disc.

On cranking, the battery needs to have more than 10 volts. Easy enough to check. Crank the engine and measure the voltage across the battery as you do...
