homesteady Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 I've used up all the covers in my Westfield supplied SVA pack but I've still got the 8 studs and bolts from the seats sticking underneath the floor. Does the inspector need to have them covered? Any suggestions for making them SVA proof welcome. Quote
Chasmon Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 Under the floor is exempt matey Anything below where a 30degree edge hits the bodywork/chassis on the exterior is not included. The under side of my car has loads of bolts sticking out where I've made the fuel lines replaceable because I reckon they'll get damaged one day with hills where I live being so bumpy HTH Quote
homesteady Posted August 6, 2008 Author Posted August 6, 2008 Thanks for that. One less thing to worry about. Just waiting for VOSA to stop asking for more information and give me a date. The the DVLA to deal with ... Summers almost gone Quote

homesteady Posted August 7, 2008 Author Posted August 7, 2008 Electronic lady at DVLA helpline said she would send an application pack out to me last Friday. No sign of post arriving yet. I notice that my Westfield supplied windscreen has no markings on it. Will the SVA tester need evidence of glass quality? September will be glorious mark my words! Quote
