westy Posted December 14, 2001 Posted December 14, 2001 That Sophie bird is a bit to posh for me being an Essex boy As for the contest for the longest post its not that Im competitive I just hate losing Going back to the F1 thing you couldnt be more right on the top dollar winning the prize. Did you see the new development Site that McClaren have planned: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport....301.stm Imagine you want to start off in racing how on earth are you going to compete with that sort of investment. I must admit my money is on Shoemaker this season he is to strong for the other drivers and his driving technique is very sharp. <sad on> Did you see him approach the last mini chicane at Suzuka before the main start finish striaght, approaching at a snip under 200mph he seemed to be the only driver who would brake consistently to around 40mph with the backend of the car just slightly out so that when he swung in to the corner it would be able turn in more than just giving full lock, as the car penjalemed the other way just off the apex it would allow him to be on the perfect exit path for maximum accererated and taking the path of least reistance...great stuff </sad off> There again I could just be talking Westy Quote
westy Posted December 14, 2001 Posted December 14, 2001 Doesnt this post match that record of 61 replies? Anyway.... Westy "The car in front is about to be overtaken" Quote
Mark Stanton Posted December 14, 2001 Posted December 14, 2001 Bosco Balaban - He'll come good Yep he is pants - But Come on you Villans (for god's sake) Sophie Ellis Baxter - Old Fox Face - you're sick Can you imagine the offspring if Sophie "Foxface" Bexter and David "Nearly Man" Coulthard got together. Max Headroom on acid. Quote
ricdiggle Posted December 14, 2001 Posted December 14, 2001 I like the way you have combined the two threads running on this single thread Mark. Which pop star / F1 driver combo would produce the best looking offspring? Well, I'd go for Nigel Mansell and Jimmy Nail - what a brute of a child those two would produce! Of course they may have difficulty conceiving. Quote
russbif Posted December 14, 2001 Posted December 14, 2001 Richard, I once had the effrontery to criticise your spelling, as an expat essex man living in Cheshire, I am ashamed to say the Westy has outdone all your previous misdemeanours in a single post. Come on Westy, its the northerners that are thick not us. Russ Quote
ricdiggle Posted December 14, 2001 Posted December 14, 2001 Russbif, expat should have a stop after it, to indicate that it is the abbreviated form of expatriate; The word Essex deserves a capital letter (optional for Northerners), as does the word Northerners itself. (mandatory for all) Finally, I believe that "...I am ashamed to say the Westy has outdone all your previous..." Should read, "...I am ashamed to say that Westy has outdone all your previous..." Do you live in a glass house? If so, I have some advice for you! Quote
Westfieldman Posted December 15, 2001 Posted December 15, 2001 Doing English homework marking then, Maths tomorrow? If I have spelt any thing wrong it's cos Iam a thick fitter. Hi Richard have you got space for a pic of my Zetec car that nearly finished so I can have an aviator please. Paul. Quote

westy Posted December 15, 2001 Posted December 15, 2001 Apologies for the spelling it seems that my rebellious typing fingers had surreptitiously inserted some letters that shouldn’t have been there. Plus I was at work so I didn’t have much time to write the thing! Anyway no excuse next time I'll pay attention, honest But it’s good to see the post on Schy’s skills completely ignored and only the spelling noticed! On another note, Essex man moving to Cheshire I hope it was to marry a Kylie look alike! Oh got to go Kylie and Sophie are at the office door looking frisky Regards, Westy PS - If we ask nicely could we foist the need of a spell checker in? Quote
