I was thinking a meet up at the Gateway services on the M1 (near the bottom) - is that on your way?

Suggest aim to be at Ace Cafe by 9:30 due to parking restrictions.

I'm keeping an eye on weather (and it's subject to me sorting out the tramlining issue I have atm).  If I decide to go I'll probably drop down the A1 and cut across from Welwyn to the M1, could meet you at the services, what time do you reckon?

Met office forecast says London OK until about 4pm

Nice to meet you Chris , Hope you had a good blat up the A5 on the way home .

Good job we got there early to make sure we could get parked .  

I thought it was a shame they wasn't a few more cars there but I enjoyed it anyway . Shame they were only doing small breakfasts though

Very glad the weather changed it's mind and the sun came out. Just a shame the fry-up added so much extra weight to the car I couldn't go for a propper blat... but gave me the engergy to go out again later in the afternoon  

Good to meet a few more owners and my first time at Ace was... well ace
