Phssthpok Posted August 27, 2002 Posted August 27, 2002 Over a breezy luncheon of anchovy and pear compote I smiled with Gentle D’Bore my erstwhile literary agent; a flirty creature without a spare brain-cell in her pretty head. We were discussing the relative merits of alligator versus crocodile moccasins when Gentle belched daintily and whispered that she’d been on the Westfield Sports Car site. Giggling from a third glass of Macon-Uchizy, she reminded me that I own one of the funny little cars. By chance, the subject of my Westfield was also raised by that scurrilous old pimp, Sir David Frost, during one of our tedious Sunday morning debates. Normally I’m not given to grandiose bragging about my munificent Westfield however, Gentle’s wanton suggestions, not to mention her liberal groping of my upper thigh, finally made me want to boast. Now, Gentle’s a girl of breading and therefore of limited intellect and is not going to be impressed by talk of BHP and LSD’s. So, before this delightful creature slips through my fingers does anyone know any famous Westfield owners I can impress he with? Ps. Not a whisper to Ms Phssthpok Quote
stu999 Posted August 27, 2002 Posted August 27, 2002 Beautifully written. In short, your 'literary agent' needs a good seeing to and you could be the man.... And the Westy may be the vehicle to the garage of lurrrve.... I dont know any famous folk with Westys. How low are you willing to stoop? Chris Rea has got a Cateringvan...... Quote

Blatman Posted August 28, 2002 Posted August 28, 2002 Er........Mark Evans. Discovery Channel's ex Veterinarian, and builder/restorer of; 1 Cobra replica, 1 E Type Jag, 1 kit 'plane, 1 kit chopper , and recently, a racing/hillclimbing/sprinting Westfield. I know he's only a minor D list celeb (and incredibly annoying sometimes), but he's the only person who readily comes to mind............... Any advance on "Minor D list celeb" anyone.......... Quote
Si Stocks Posted August 28, 2002 Posted August 28, 2002 Going even lower down the food chain, in an old Performance Car review, Vicki Butler Henderson's sister said she wanted to buy an Seight... Don't think that's going to impress Gentle though... Quote
Mark Stanton Posted August 28, 2002 Posted August 28, 2002 Mark Evans drove one but he didn't own it Some Z list celeb called Ross King once drove one for some daytime / breakfast travelogue programme Lee Dixon once had a cateringvan as did some off copulation street but I don't watch that so don't know his name Quote
Phssthpok Posted August 28, 2002 Author Posted August 28, 2002 How low are you willing to stoop? Chris Rea has got a Cateringvan...... Even with advanced yoga lessons I couldn't stoop "that" low. Vicki Butler Henderson's sister said she wanted to buy an Seight... Gentle claims not to know any woman over a size 10 so VBH and/or her sister are not going to cut the mustard; although they’d probably eat it. Mark Evans. Discovery Channel's ex Veterinarian ...possible, if the good Mr Evens could drag himself away from cars and aircraft and present something like "A dress is born" on BBC1 Some Z list celeb called Ross King Who? Many Westfields are owned by Essex people - nuff said ...pleeeaze! Unzip your shellsuit and lie down. Com'on folks there must be some famous ba*tard who owns a Westfield. Quote
