Bought my first 7 about 6 weeks ago and have seen quite a few posts re BEC's. Well, met up with a local guy at Curborough on Sunday and we went of for a bit of a drive. Got completely trounced  by his Busa ( mines a VX 1600 8v)Anyway went out for a passenger ride( first time ever in a Busa) and was blown away with the speed and acceleration. These cars are a lot of fun IMHO and just so quick. I reckon they must be a LOT of fun on the track.

Big thanks to all the Westfield drivers I see about including the guys at the local area meeting who have all made me feel very welcome ( I'm a C******m owner by the way) It's nice to know that in real life everyone just enjoys the fun of these type of cars and don't really get too wound up about the badge

You could always chuck your slow, heavy car engine out and put a proper one in !!!

Nick,

I could do but.....

I can't afford a MegaBusa

and I would miss the chance to race against another 40  odd guys who have identical heavy lumps as me and the same tyres in what I reckon is one of the most closely contested race series.   :D

By the way I am a complete novice at all of this. Only had my car about 7 weeks and never raced anything before...but one wet trackday at Oulton, one dry test morning at Mallory :D  and 3 races at Silverstone Stowe circuit last Sunday so far which I reckon is not too bad.

I think the MegaBusas are brilliant and would be very surprised if anybody who has been in one is not impressed. Hope you are enjoying yours

Mike
