..should a diff get?

Bit of an odd question, but I was looking under the car after doing about 50 miles at motorway speed, I felt the diff and it pretty hot, I could keep my hand on it but it wasn't too comfy.

Is this normal?  It's not something I've ever thought about before! It's a 4*4 LSD unit if that makes any diff!

If you can keep your hand on it I wouldn't worry about it.
