Lovely job nice to see someone go an unusual route re engine, looked a bit of a squeeze or was it ok, must have done a lot of research b4 fitting it. Wot made you decide on the Saab lump in the first place ( I,m sure its been on here B4 but cant find it)

I had massive help from the guys over in sweden, especially tourqueman, he went way further than the average guy would to help someone he 's never met before, so a big thanks to you Patrik.

It is tight but very do-able, 285bhp is just on standard engine / turbo, you can get up 500 bhp with no internal mods theres one on you tube with 850 bhp in a 9-3, so upgrades are as cheap as chips, best thing is, if you do blow the engine, its only a couple of hundred quid for another one.

me thinks you might have started some interest with those sort of BHP figures even for a standard lump!!

The BEC chassis was because it was the best starter car I could find at the time, I kept a look out for a good car with T9 already fitted but this car that graheme had was to good to pass up, its quite well spec'd for a CEC :)

Just looking to change the throttle cable as it was sticking on the way home, would the MGF throttle cable work?  it has a push bike back brake cable on at the min lol
