Blatman Posted May 9, 2008 Author Posted May 9, 2008 Signed. I have 2 wheels in my blood, which is boiling as I hadn't spotted this. Nor me. Yes we're yet another soft target, just like all those losers in the 10p tax nonsense, and all those families who bought a "cheap" second hand people carrier who now find themselves massively out of pocket come RFL renewal... Like I say, we have a government without principle, which is not unusual, but it's a labour government intent on penalising the poorer sections of society in favour of... well, the treasury... I think they're just desperate for cash to feed the madness that's been going on under Bliar and now Brown . . . they don't give a sh*t where it comes from, they're like a heroin addict who just needs a fix, regardless. Well, yes and no. Labour always pledge to improve public services regardless of the circumstances. Whether they are actually improved or not is a pointless debate. The point is they have to pay for them, which means tax. They dress it up with spin and bash the opposition but when all's said and done, they are supposed to try to balance the books, just like we do. They have easier acccess to a big overdraft which we have to fund... Quote
