Killed my Ipod Nano in Sri Lanka...and it aint worth paying my policy excess to claim for the damage...So time for an upgrade maybe from the 8 gig Nano.

Looking at the Ipod Touch....Anyone got one?? Worth the extra cash over another Nano??

Rumours in June of a 64GB model - worth waiting for I reckon - I don't think the storage on the current models is enough really...

Depends how many tooones you can listen too in one session, my nano is full and I dont listen to all the playlists in the car or at home . Its all about yer favourite muzak and the mood you are in at the time. you can always change the music to suit you in about 10 minutes on I tunes so you dont need everything on there  do you!!!!

Scott,

Dont know if you have seen that the Iphone is now 100GBP off in 02 and CPWarehouse.

It's essentially the same as the touch 8gb but with a phone in as well.

You dont have to use the phone bit afterall.

Plenty on the web about it.

I have a 60gig classic and just got myself a personal mobile and went for the iPhone. Great bit of kit IMHO but thm I am a nut when it comes to music and iPod's! In fact I'm using it now to type this message on the boardroom!

Saw a mate's last weekend and they look great. Basically an iPhone without the phone; so you get wifi, google maps, facebook, etc on top of all the usual iPod features. UI looked smooth and intuitive. Keyboard looked like it was actually ok to use!

60gb of music is a resonable mid sized collection.
