Thanks, will try them, we usually use village cars in Ore but like quite a few places I've tried they won't touch a kit car.

My friend (owns a DRK 3 wheeler) usually uses a place in Lenham but I haven't been able to get in touch to find out who.

Thanks again

I use a place in Ringmer, know the bloke as we used to work opposite the garage. I wouldn't use him for anything complicated, but for an MOT he has never failed a car of mine.

If you want further info, and are prepared to listen to him talk (man, he talks...) then let me know.

Try Pete Anscombe at The MOT Centre in Rye Harbour Road, Rye (01797 223606).  Have to admit its my brother in law (so hopefully not breaching some site rule by recommending family) but he has kit car experience as several customers have them, and he has a Sylva and cobra kits himself.

In the past has given up space for a mate to build a Robin Hood under cover - but don't hold that against him!

Hasn't passed my car yet - but gets his first chance to earn browny points on Saturday.

Rob: Sounds good, I'm used to talking, my local MOT bloke usually likes to discuss the world during any work  :D if you could send me the details I'd be grateful.

Andy: I think one of my friends uses him for his tin-top (still does even after moving to eastbourne!), sounded like a good bloke.

Thanks for the help everyone, I'll have a phoning session next week!
