a4gom Posted April 15, 2008 Posted April 15, 2008 Does anyone know of a piece of free (no watermark, no trial limit) software which allows you to join pdf documents together? Or maybe there is a program on my p.c. which will do it that I don't know about? Quote
Mike H Posted April 15, 2008 Posted April 15, 2008 If you are a bit of a programmer then you could try iText which is a Java based free library for PDF doc creation/manipulation. Have a look round: http://www.lowagie.com/iText/ or go here for details on concatenating pdf documents: http://www.lowagie.com/iText/tutorial/ch13.html#tools Or there is iTextSharp which is a C# port of the Java code. Hammy Posted April 15, 2008 Posted April 15, 2008 Most people only have the free Adobe reader program, but there is a proper Adobe packeage for creating editing, protecting pdfs - not that that is of any help to you unless you want to purchase it. Quote
Lurksalot Posted April 15, 2008 Posted April 15, 2008 I use this to produce pdf's . It doesnt edit existing ones and it does have it's name as a page footer ( unless you pay your £25) but it is well doody if new need to create pdf files. Quote
