mercedes A170 fuel rail

have taken merc into the garage and they are saying I have a faulty injectors and fuel rail.  faulty injectors I can understand but at a cost of £600+ for a new rail I do not understand - are they pulling the wool or can these things become faulty.  any advice would be great help

Doug, ask for more specific detail. I can only think the fuel rail is fractured.

If so it may be repairable. A dealer wouldn't repair only replace.
