markcoopers Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 6Am start, has prompted a serious revision in my consideration for the morning sessions. I like the idea of just going after lunch all of a sudden. Quote
samcooke Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 Bah. Get yourself a 16 month old. 6am is a lovely lie-in for me. Quote

SparkyB Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 They've been forecasting rain all week and I've seen very little, I'm praying to the anti-rain gods as we speak! Quote
samcooke Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 The great thing about the web is that you can shop around until you find one you like. Google reckons : Quote

markcoopers Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 Chaz, are you taking a s**t load of tools and a funnel? Any one else already taking a footpump and pressure guage? So all I need is fluids fule, chair, fule, driving licence, fule, warm dry coat and fule. Quote
CrashBangWallop Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 The first one you get for free. The second could have been one hand thinking further ahead than the other. The third one may have been a 'copy-and-paste' from either of the first two. The forth one tipped me over the edge, though. Fuel, Mark. I'm sorry. Have fun, people. I'm going to be a real ghost, this year. Last year's effort of new house, new child (okay, she's fourteen) and, now, new car is starting to take it's toll. Neil Quote

cng1 Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 I may see you there tomorrow. After last weeks head gasket failure and the resultant mad panic to fix that I went out for a couple of sessions this morning only for the sump gaket to fail. Fortunately the largest cometic gasket dealer in the country lives just down the road from me and I now have a gasket in my hand so if I can fit it tonight then I'll pop over for some more laps. StuartMackay Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 The forecast for Sunday is the same as today except lighter winds, and today was brilliant, even got a bit of Sun (wind?) Burn!! Be prepared for a wait at Guardroom as there was quite a queue this morning for entry and signing on, which meant a delayed start to proceedings. I understand if you booked through the PH group, they will be Group B tomorrow which should give half an hour extra before getting out on track. Driver's Briefing was extremely crowded and hard to hear if you were at the back of the room, perhaps a PA for the Briefing Officer would be useful? Tape up the front of your car if you value your paint, lots of loose stuff being thrown up, my helmet in the aeroscreened car is peppered!! Great Day though and only one serious incident, with a Midget ending up rolling and flattening the screen,No Rollcage!! Driver ok, was taken to Hospital for precautionary check up PS does anyone have a spare outer CV joint boot and clips they could bring with them?, mine split and a temporary (bodged) repair kept us going, but I dont know if it will last tomorrow Quote
