Windows Colours Changed Itself...

Recommended Posts

I turned the computer on this evening and the colours of windows has changed. It was set on the Silver XP colours.

It had changed to the standard XP colours, but with black writing in the top left of the windows, instead of white.

I assumed SWMBO had been playing again, she changed it from standard XP to silver in the first place, but she didn't.

So, why has it done it, anybody know? I'm running virus/spyware checks at the minute. But, so far nothing.

Bemused of Peterborough.

ETA: Virus & Spware check complete. Nowt found...

Has anything been downloaded? Maybe a new programme has taken it upon itself to alter some of the settings.

Otherwise, just reset the system in control panel, restart and see what happens... don't forget you can change the defaults, so it may be worth checking that the default settings are actually correct. If not, change them ;)

No, nothing new has been installed for a while.

Weird... Googling turns up nothing either, other than instructions on how to change the colour scheme.

Guess I'll just have to keep an eye on it.
