Hi,

I am thinking about buying a race jack or quick lift jack but do not know which one to go for. I am leaning towards the quick lift jack as they are similar in price and the quick lift jack would allower quicker wheel changes.

The race jack i am looking at is the Clarke low line racing jack rrp £90.

The quick lift jack ii from rally design, but do i go for the long or short jack they both retail at £87.

I've got the Clarke low entry jack. I'm not sure what advantage that gives over the quicklift if they're the same price.

I have got both and find the race jack more usefull, QL is good for quick wheel changes but is limited in other areas.

If you are using it in your garage the race jack is better. Most of them have a two piece handle and the Westfield doesn't need the full length. Therefore you need little room at the end of the car between wall/door toolbox etc. The quick lift needs a few feet for the handle (one piece) to drop to the floor.

I take a quick lift with me to sprints, they are even a touch lighter than the race jacks and easier to store.
