samcooke Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 I'm going away for 4 days tomorrow and something I want off ebay ends during that time, has anyone used Auction Sniper or similar sucessfully? It claims to do what I want. Quote
fatbaldbloke Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 Absolutely, excellent piece of kit. I use www.auctionsniper.com. Set it to 5 seconds. When I signed up they were offering 3 free snipes plus 3 more for every friend you introduce. FBB Quote
dabar Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 Yes used that one aswell, just once on free trial, worked for me Not sure what happens if more than one bidder is using it. Graham. Quote

fatbaldbloke Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 QUOTE Gis your ebay name fbb and you can have another 3... Thanks for the offer, the way it works is I have to submit your email address, then you get sent a link and I get the freebies. Don't worry about it now, too much hassle and I have a stockpile of free snipes already. Best of luck, FBB Quote
stu999 Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 Excuse my ignorance - but why? What do they do? Quote
smegablade Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 I use www.auctionstealer.co.uk and you get three free every week. Works every time. Quote
CedricTheBrave Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 QUOTE Excuse my ignorance - but why? What do they do? they place a bid for you in the very last second automatically. very usefull if an auction finishes at a silly time or if you are not near a pc. but also makes sure you are the last to bid. (usually) Quote
Blatman Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 Excuse my ignorance - but why? adamnreeves Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 One with the fastest link and computer wins Remind me not to do business with you dodgy lot Okay, I admit I used one a couple of times but I do feel guilty afterwards which last until I get my much wanted item Quote
CedricTheBrave Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 depends who has put in the higher max bid if they both use a sniper tool the higher max bid will win if they are the same max bid then it will be down to the first who bid that wins no different from normal Quote
