Due to a new purchase, my red 16VT is now for sale.

Location - Harlow Essex.

Where to start...

Engine and turbo were replaced in jan 07 at motormech. The engine was sourced from Sedicirich on this forum, I'm sure he'd be happy to confirm that and it's condition when I bought it. Current mileage on the speedo is 92,000, the engine is around 10,000 less.

New belts were fitted and a new clutch also. So all belts are just a shade over a year old.

The car also has leather, air con (currently not cold) and in my ownership I have fitted...

apex lowering springs (original springs to go with car if required)

New rear dampers

Front strut brace

Drilled and grooved front discs

OMP fast road pads (set of ferrodo pads as spares)

Alloy speedo, speaker and heater rings

Blitz r115 boost gauge (with redline starting at 1.2, set into dash just left of the steering wheel)

Greddy profec B (dash mounted under the headlight adjuster)

New thermostat

Wolfrace 17" alloys (original wheels with 2 x champiro (ok) and 2 x brand new nankang NS2s available)

alloy handbrake and gear surround

new clutch slave cylinder

new universal cat

as new front bumper

Aftermarket immobiliser

Green air filter

Has a dump to atmos valve but unsure as to make, makes a nice tshhhhhhh though

Is supposed to be chipped but I have no evidence of that

It has 11 months mot and is taxed until 06/08

It has only done 2000 miles since the last MOT

The bits we dont like to mention..

Was subject to an insurance claim in 1999, and there is evdidence of the car having paint work on the nearside rear quarter.

Current stereo will be removed and a sony head supplied.

It's red, the paint isn't great. The rear bumper has a small crack in it and there is some bubbling in the rear lights.

Due to a wiring fault, the central locking/alarm doesn't work. Central locking works ok on the key though.

Airbag light on.

Interior ok, some marks on the rear seats.

Windscreen has a very small crack in it on drivers side.

Since the engine change the oil pressure gauge hasn't worked correctly. It never hits 3 bar, even when stone dead cold, sticks intermittantly at .5 bar when hot.

It has done this since I picked it up from motormech (recognised coupe specialist garage), Paul wasn't worried about it, neither was I.

Car idles, drives and pulls fine with no smoke, hot or cold.

Lol, I just pasted the ad verbatim from another forum, forgot about the linky bits :)

Someone coming to look at it in a few hours, I'll update the ad as necessary after they've been but cheers for the heads up.
