bhouse Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 That looks very fine indeed - time for a group shot of 40's/50's inspired builds perhaps? Brian Quote
David_East Posted March 8, 2008 Author Posted March 8, 2008 Thanks Guy's for the comments I can't take all the credit. I did all the mechanical stuff, the fit of the bodywork and brightwork. The Nostalgia guy's did the final preparation of the body, painting and trimming. Thanks again Quote

bhouse Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 David - I clicked on your link and immediately got a webshield alert saying that the site contains viruses It's probably a false alarm but it could be worth checking... Brian Quote
karlos Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 any pics of the build ? Sod the build, Buzz any pics of your mates wife?! Quote
David_East Posted March 9, 2008 Author Posted March 9, 2008 Brian Thanks for the warning. I tried it mysekf and got nothing untoward. I tried from my work computer the other day and it complained about the J/S Wonka virus. Subsequent accesses were fine. The site does use Activ X controls and it may be this that it is complaining about. I'll contact my ISP and get them to scan it just to be on the safe side. Thanks again PS My ISP has checked the site and found nothing. I supect it was a false alarm. Quote
rob iles Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 Hi David Looks a cracking motor,as ever attention to detail is excellent. I can't beleive it's been 5yrs since my train trip to Newbury. The Westy is still going strong and not missed a beat, a credit to your building skills The appearance may of changed a bit since you saw it last it's been on a diet All the best Rob Quote
